Peace Everlasting

We are meant to find peace
Whilst things crumble and fade,
Whilst people leave or change,
Whilst surrounded by chaos and darkness,
As we wander into the unknown.

For peace – enduring, incorruptible, and imperishable –
Peace in and under any and all circumstances,
Peace everlasting,
Is found in knowing the truth written on our heart
And knowing the one who wrote it there.
